designblok Prague ’14

We were lucky enough to be in Prague during designblok, a contemporary design fair that has locations and installations all over the city. Not going to lie, I had never heard of it and  literally stumbled across it when I spotted some amazing interactive installations on our way to the Charles Bridge.  We carved out a few hours right before we left to check out their biggest exhibition space in the old Hotel Evropa. The venue was awesome and the installations/displays looked amazing in the old space but I think there was a lot that could have been done to improve the overall visitor (and exhibitor,  for that matter) experience – like letting people know if the creepy little elevators were actually safe to use or having working bathrooms from this century (no, literally).
