Un Peu Plus de Paris

Montmartre, Paris France via youmademelikeyou.com

This was a beautiful and perfect day in Paris that started with a delicious café au lait… should probably start all of my days with a giant bowl of coffee flavored milk because it’s amazing. After exploring Montmartre (and a short subway ride), we had a very special visit to a beautiful Hermès store (hello silk bandana) and then another very special visit to City Pharma. For those of you who have never heard of this phenomenon of a store, it is basically the mother of all pharmacies in Paris. You will find anything and everything you are looking for and a hundred other things you never even knew existed but that you absolutely need. To my husband, however, this pharmacy of my dreams was more of a nightmare as it is packed with women lugging around heavy baskets and throwing elbows. At one point, I stopped to look at a hairbrush and I caused a traffic jam so bad that he started yelling “YOU CAN’T HESITATE!! JUST PUT IT IN THE BASKET!” and so I did… along with a few other things that came highly recommended by the very helpful pharmacist.  If you’re going to venture into City Pharma, look online first, come prepared, get your game face ready and practice a little French because it’s so busy, the employees seem to have no patience with English speakers.
